Please join us for a virtual launch of the Individual Deprivation Measure (IDM) Multidimensional Poverty Reports for two districts in Indonesia.

On Monday, September 14 at 12:00 PM AEST ( or Indonesia 9am UTC+7), the ANU research team that led the Indonesia IDM Country Study will be sharing the findings and launching the two final reports from this research.

The two reports, covering Jeneponto Regency and Pangkajene and Islands Regency, will be formally launched by Dr Maliki, Director for Poverty Alleviation and Development of Social Welfare, National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Indonesia.

The launch will be facilitated by Ibu Nina Sardjunani, Head of the National SDGs Secretariat, National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Indonesia.

The IDM findings from the Pangkajene and Jeneponto studies reveal that the intersections of gender, age, location, and disability compound the experience of poverty. Through assessment across all aspects of poverty, we see how deprivation in each impacts on individuals, and how multiple deprivations combine to create multidimensional poverty.

Please join us for the launch to hear more about the study, the findings, and the future of this research which will be critical to ending poverty in all its forms, everywhere.
