To fulfil our mission of generating new knowledge and informing discussion on the causes, consequences, and ways of addressing poverty and inequality, the Poverty and Inequality Research Centre undertakes transdisciplinary research that is both theoretically and methodologically innovative and policy relevant.
Our research uses mixed methods, from the large-scale surveys that underpin the Individual Measure of Multidimensional Poverty to the participatory, rights-based methods that underpin our work on child poverty.
